Watercolor pools and amenities are some of the very best found along 30A! This master planned community offers state of the art tennis courts, a fitness center, several neighborhood pools featuring Camp Watercolor, and the iconic gulf front Beach Club. When vacationing in Watercolor, guests are provided access via wristband to these wonderful amenities and the private beach. Please note the fitness center and tennis courts are pay per use facilities.
The Watercolor Beach Club is a beach front oasis that has luxurious and family orientated amenities that are a step above any other community. To start, the club features 3 spacious pools of your choosing with plenty of room to lounge around on the upper and lower decks. Next, you can indulge in quick eats and beachside drinks from the Watercolor Grill, Beach Cow or Tiki Bar. Typically you will find the pools heated in the winter; however, it is dependent on the weather and temperatures as to when and how long each pool may be heated. The Beach Club is open from 9am to 7pm (hours of operations are subject to change due to weather and seasonality). Golf cart, bicycle and ADA parking is available to the left of the entrance of the club. There is a trolley service that will operates during peak season. Next is Camp Watercolor, a dream spot for kiddos and adult let’s be honest. Camp Watercolor features two generous pools -each with slides, and a lazy river with a zero entry. There are life guards on duty during hours of operations. The Canteen Restaurant & Bar provide great snacks and treats that you can walk-up and order or use the self-ordering kiosk. Located outside of the camp is a basketball court and playground. Camp Watercolor pools may be heated when the winter months approach but there is no definitive date. The camp is open daily from 10AM to 7pm (hours of operations are subject to change due to weather and seasonality). There are a limited number of parking spots for golf carts and vehicles at the Camp and around Spartina Circle. Bicycle racks are available. The trolly service provides transportation to Camp Watercolor as well.
Additionally, there are three neighborhood pools found in the different districts of the community. The first is the Marina Pool found in the Park District and has Western Lake as a beautiful backdrop. This pool is located near the Watercolor Lakehouse and Boathouse where kayak and bike rentals are available. The second pool is the Sandhill “Frog” Pool located in the beautiful Lake District. This fun-filled pool features frogs as fountains for the kids to play in and has plenty of loungers to relax in the sun or shade. The third pool is the Dragonfly Pool found in the Crossings District by Publix. This pool offers quiet, ample space for families to enjoy a day in the water with a grilling station if you get hungry. These pools open daily from 8am until dusk.
Watercolor offers five Har-Tru HydroCourt clay courts and two hard-surface pickle ball courts that are centrally located on Western Lake Drive. These courts are pay per use. The pro shop offers tennis gear and light snacks and refreshments. Private lessons, clinics and more are held throughout the year.
