New ThinkPad Edge Series Laptop Models
The Lenovo ThinkPad E530 is a 15.6" screen small business targeted laptop. It is powered by an entirely new Intel Ivy Bridge Core processor with optional graphics and up to a max 8GB of DDR3 memory. The 15.6 inch AntiGlare screen Midnight Black has a widescreen capacity of 1366 x 768 pixels graphics resolution. The Intel Ivy Bridge Core processor is a marked improvement to the Sandy Bridge processors in many ways including Tri-gate transistor technology (less than 50% power consumption at the same performance level as 2-D planar transistors), PCI Express 3.0 support, Max CPU multiplier of 63 (57 for Sandy Bridge), RAM support up to 2800 MT/s in 200 MHz increments, Intel HD Graphics 2500/4000 with DirectX 11, OpenGL 3.1, and OpenCL 1.1 support, the built-in GPU is believed to have up to 16 execution units (EUs), compared to Sandy Bridge's maximum of 12, a new random number generator and the RdRand instruction, codenamed Bull Mountain, Intel Quick Sync Video, DDR3L low voltage for mobile processors and multiple 4K video playback. Overall, these stats translate to a 5% to 15% increase in CPU performance and a 20% to 50% increase in integrated GPU performance. This laptop is preinstalled with Genuine Windows 7 Professional (64 bit).
This extra power puts the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530 at a higher level than most laptops of its class and with a 320 GB hard drive which can be upgraded up to 1TB, allows you to store all your very important files in a safe and secure setting. Speakers are located at each side of the notebook and both are powered by a super sounding built-in Dolby Home Theater v4 sound system.
DVD Video entertainment played on the DVD Recordable drive of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530 is further complemented by this Dolby Home Theater v4 sound system. Video acceleration and enhanced graphics quality is provided by the Intel HD Graphics 3000 in processor.
